Bio

Enjoying her third year as head coach of Monarch Softball, Andrea “Dre” Contreras brings a wealth of experience, academic excellence, and a strong sense of commitment to softball field.

On the diamond, Dre’s reputation for motivating players preceeds her, with a continuous track record of helping them reach their potential. Equally important, her reverance for education gives her a keen understanding of their academic needs away from the field.  

A local product, Dre is a graduate of nearby Chatsworth High where she played third base. She later played for Los Angeles Mission College before joing the squad at Mt. San Antonio College. She later continued her education at Cal Baptist University earning two masters, one in Education and the other in Kinesiology.
